Zach Sekar
A lifelong entrepreneur, technologist, and curious mind, Zach Sekar has been launching businesses and building on the internet for more than two decades. Leveraging consistency and his knack for market communications, community building, events, and conferences, Zach has built Startup Coil , one of the largest startup and technology communities in Southern California, and the greatest innovation festival on the West Coast called Outer Edge LA.
Raised in the Midwest, Zach decided to study finance and philosophy at USC and has made Los Angeles his home. When he's not exploring the latest in science and technology, you can find Zach playing on the beach with his dog, Ninja, staying active outdoors, and enjoying his photography and filmmaking hobbies.Stanley Bishop
Stanley Bishop is a machine learning scientist and decentralized science (DeSci) advocate dedicated to advancing computational biology and AI-driven research. As the Founder of the Rare Molecule Foundation, he leads efforts to accelerate breakthroughs in rare disease research, making cutting-edge bio-compute resources more accessible. A rare disease patient himself, he is deeply invested in leveraging AI and open science to transform biomedical discovery.
Known as Science Stanley, he’s passionate about making complex research engaging and actionable. His work spans AI-powered drug discovery, genomics, and high-efficiency deep learning. Originally from the Bay Area, Stanley now calls Los Angeles home, where he continues pushing the boundaries of AI, biology, and DeSci.
